MAKE-A-WISH

The Eighth Grade Class would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the families who supported the Make-A-Wish Fundraiser. We would especially like to thank all of the families who donated items and their time to help make the movie night successful. Through the donations from the pajama day and the sales at the movie night, we were able to raise almost two thousand dollars for our wish kid, Lauren- Elise! This will greatly help the efforts of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in granting her Caribbean Cruise Wish.
We hope all of your Christmas wishes come true, too!

THANK YOU!!!

National Believe Day

Friday, December 10th was National Believe Day! Believe was inspired by the letter to the editor written by eight-year-old Virginia O'Hanlon in 1897 asking if there is a Santa Claus. Newsman Francis P. Church responded with a letter that assured Virginia that there was a Santa Claus, just as sure as there is joy and beauty. People just had to have the courage to shun cynicism and have faith in things that can’t always be seen. And for those spirited ones, Santa will always exist.

In honor of National Believe Day, Macy’s was making a $2 donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation for every letter sent to Santa on Friday. The students in 2nd, 6th, and 7th Grade wrote their letters Friday to be included in the National Fundraiser.

Shadow's Pet Pantry

Thank you to all of the families that donated to Shadow's Pet Pantry. The food collection was very successful and, with your help, many families are going to be aided in feeding their animals. Last Thursday, Mary and Lindsey went to Heritage Bark to drop off the donations. Please continue to keep Shadow's Pet Pantry and all of the families receiving support in your prayers.
Thank you!!
